Remote and Mobile Deposit

Check Deposits from home or on the go

Remote Deposit*

Remote Deposit allows a member to deposit a check to a Valor or Kasasa® Checking Account, or Valor Money Market Account from the privacy and comfort of your own home.

Simply sign into your Online Banking Account, scroll over the "Services" tab and choose "Remote Deposit" to get started. A picture of the check will be accepted any of the following ways:

  • Scan image using a TWAIN compatible scanner and upload via Online Banking
  • Take a picture using your smartphone and upload via Online Banking
  • Take a picture using a digital camera and upload via Online Banking

Mobile Deposit*

Banking from the palm of your hand just got easier! Simply take a picture of your check and upload it for deposit to your Checking or Money Market Account via the Valor Mobile Banking App available for both iOS and Android devices.

It’s pocket convenience that’s quick, easy, and secure!

Requirements

In order to qualify for Remote Deposit or Mobile Deposit usage, the following must be met:

  • Must not have any shares or loans charged off
  • Must not have been share negative six or more times in the past three months
  • No loans 10 or more days delinquent
  • Must be a member for over one month
  • Must have a checking account
  • Must be signed up for eStatements

Also note that all checks under $200 will have a 1 day hold placed, and all checks exceeding $200 will have a 1 day hold placed on the first $200, with the remainder receiving a 2 day hold.


Conditions & Notes

* Must be enrolled in Valor Online Banking and have a Valor or Kasasa Checking Account or Money Market in order to utilize Remote or Mobile Deposit. There is a $5,000 daily limit on deposits as well as a $25,000 rolling 30-day limit.
